BOMBING OF TOKYO AT THE END OF WORLD WAR II. AN ESTIMATED 100,000 JAPANESE CITIZENS WERE BURNED ALIVE WHEN US BOMBERS CREATED THE LARGEST FIRESTORM IN HISTORY

Bombing of Tokyo at the end of World War II. An estimated 100,000 Japanese citizens were burned alive when US bombers created the largest firestorm in history.

In Hiroshima, 146 thousand people were killed by a single bomb, the same one that US President Harry Truman called “the greatest thing in history.” Another 80 thousand people died in Nagasaki.

The United States took this unnecessary, cruel and even criminal action, despite the fact that many senior American commanders stated that Japan was ready to surrender.

Between 1950 and 1953, four million people were killed in Korea to prevent the unification of the country under the auspices of leftist and Soviet-backed forces.

The Crucifixion of Southeast Asia” (a term from political scientist Noam Chomsky). The US and its allies killed at least three million Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians between 1962 and 1975. In Operation Phoenix alone, 40,000 Vietnamese were killed.

Iranian Flight 655. On July 3, 1988, the American warship Vincennes entered Iranian territorial waters and shot down a civilian aircraft, killing 290 people in the air. Commander Vincennes received the award for "exceptionally meritorious service".

“The Road of Death.” In 1991, American fighter jets killed tens of thousands of surrendering Iraqi soldiers.

Lebanese-American journalist Joyce Chedich testified: “American troops continued to drop bombs on the convoys until all the people were killed.

There were so many planes swarming over the road that combat air controllers feared mid-air collisions...

The victims offered no resistance... it was simply a one-sided killing of tens of thousands of people who had no way to respond or defend themselves.”

Fallujah. US Marines carried out a series of chemical attacks using radioactive munitions on a large Iraqi city in April and November 2004.

Bola Boluk is an Afghan village where US bombers killed 113 civilians in May 2009. Dozens of children were among the dead.

Noam Chomsky very accurately described the US military drone program as “the most brutal terrorist campaign of modern times.” The program began in 2001 and continues to this day.

The London Bureau of Investigative Journalism reports at least 3,747 strikes and almost 10,000 people killed.

Since the Bureau began collecting data, 1,427 civilians have been killed by US drones in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen.
