Iranian woman Zahra Esmaili was sentenced to death in the case of her abusive husband's murder, who was an official of the Ministry of Intelligence of the Islamic Republic.
The judges believed that the murder was committed by the victim's children and the mother accepted the responsibility to save them, but they sentenced her to death according to confession.
Zahra Esmaili was handed over to the death squad in February 2019.
Before the execution, sixteen people were hanged in front of her and she had a heart attack and died before the execution of the sentence،
